English Translations of Al-Quran

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Assalamualaikum wbh.

The logic of the existence of this website is due to the existence of the Noble Al-Quran al karim itself.

Many non muslim who search for truth and God with an open heart when they come to Al-Quran they will immediately know this holy Quran is the true words of God. If you stumbled into this website by accident, Al Quran is the holy Book for Islam and humanity. Its for all of us. A guidance to mankind that superceded its predecessors such as Torah and Gospels.

Al-Quran & Translation - The Different.

Translation is the choice of words describes by human in their own mother languange. Translation is not version of al-Quran. Original Al-Quran is in Arabic language and it has no other version. If you see and hear the arabic one that is Al-Quran.It is the same like it was 1400 years ago. Never been changed and preserved by Allah swt. To make it clear this website is not Quran. Its only the translation. Al-Quran was transmitted to us in a chain starting from the Almighty Himself (swt) to the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad saw in form of wahyu.

From M.Pickthall (One of English Translator)

"… The Qur’an cannot be translated. …The book is here rendered almost literally and every effort has been made to choose befitting language. But the result is not the Glorious Qur’an, that inimitable symphony, the very sounds of which move men to tears and ecstasy. It is only an attempt to present the meaning of the Qur’an-and peradventure something of the charm in English. It can never take the place of the Qur’an in Arabic, nor is it meant to do so…” [Marmaduke Pickthall, 1930]

Let us read and learn the meaning of Quran. Some of the words are direct meaning and some hidden meaning and only Allah swt knows.. Like the science facts found in the Quran(one of it is about moving mountain 27. An-Naml: verse88), 1400 years ago ordinary people would never know what was exactly the meaning. So below is the verse 7 of Al-i-Imran telling us about this. If you lost in translation, please read the commentary by Syed Abu Ala Maududi in bottom of each surah.
Al-i-Imran, ayat 7 :

He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: “We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:” and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.

Now let us start with an opening surah, open your heart, insha Allah, you’ll find the truth –> Al- Fatiha

syawal

Shawwal (شوّال) is the tenth month of the lunar Islamic calendar. Shawwal means to ‘lift or carry’; so named because she-camels normally would be carrying a fetus at this time of year.

Fasting during Shawwal

The first day of Shawwal is Eid ul-Fitr. Some Muslims observe six days of fasting during Shawwal beginning the day after Eid ul-Fitr since fasting is prohibited on this day. These six days of fasting together with the Ramadan fasts, are equivalent to fasting "perpetually", according to Sahih Muslim. The reasoning behind this tradition is that a good deed in Islam is rewarded 10 times, hence fasting 30 days during Ramadan and 6 days during Shawwal is equivalent to fasting the whole year in terms of reward.[1] It is a common misconception that the six days of fasting must be undertaken on consecutive days, but there is no hadith that support or stipulate this.

Timing

The Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar, and months begin when the first crescent of a new moon is sighted. Since the Islamic lunar calendar year is 11 to 12 days shorter than the solar year, Shawwal migrates throughout the seasons. The estimated start and end dates for Shawwal are as follows:

Islamic Events

In this month Muhammad married Aisha, the daughter of his companion Abu Bakr.

Mencari Lailatul Qadar

Mencari Lailatul Qadar

(Hadis sahih riwayat Bukhari)

(Hadis sahih riwayat Bukhari)
